Enormous Vertical Garden

Icon Hotel Hong Kong by Patrick Blanc

The Vertical Garden can be used as an impressive outdoor system, or can be used indoors, with the help of artificial lighting. The natural benefits of vertical gardens are many: improved air quality, lower energy consumption, providing a natural shield between weather and inhabitants. No matter where you live, urban or suburban, cold or hot, indoors or out, a vertical garden brings a little bit of green to all.

DIY leather Pulls

I love coming across inexpensive DIY’s that look a million bucks! Take these leather dresser pulls by Sugar And Cloth

 - nothing more than a rectangle of leather folded in half and held fast with a roofing nail, creating instant edge to a rather boring dresser that better as they age and wear. You’re not limited to the material you choose either, leather scraps, heavy fabric, belting, as long as it’s sturdy you name it.

By the time we got to this last push, everyone was leaving. Due to incoming rain and the possibility of lightning, the park ranger had urged us to turn around. Caley had no interest in turning around, nor did I. As we reached the top of Half Dome, everyone had fled and we sat alone on top of one of the most famous rocks in the world.
